VIBRANT STYLED SHOOT WITH REAL LIFE ENGAGED COUPLE.

The weather in February could not have been more perfect for this colorful, Valentine's inspired shoot. With an already picturesque venue that had ample natural beauty within the surrounding greenery, color was main goal for the shoot. It also helped that the photographer, Julia Renee Photography, loved color (cue me texting her for support in my decision to have a pink wedding dress)!

When it came to design, I wanted the overall day to be bright, fun and whimsical, but still traditional and obtainable. Authenticity in my design is so important to how I want couples to perceive not only my work, but who I am. So, in addition to the design, having a real couple was vital in the overall day. When I put out an post for some models, I immediately had Ashley and Cooper respond with excitement. When I found out they were engaged, and soon to be married at Pinehill Pavilion, I knew this shoot would bring them just as much joy as it did for all us involved.

As special is this design was, something I hold to an even higher standard, is the day's coordination and overall frame of mind. A calm, but joyful; structured, yet easy-going atmosphere is what makes the day run smoothly. Seeing appreciation in flexibility, and involvement in opinions is vital in creating an efficient vendor team. 

Although I know this day, will not hold the same memories as Ashley and Cooper's true wedding day coming up this Fall, I do hope it brought them true joy and a view as to what is to come.
